Después de 10 años de obras, los visitantes podrán disfrutar por fín del nuevo Museo National de Arte del siglo XXI de Roma, el MAXXI, en un edificio remodelado y restaurado por la prestigiosa arquitecta Zaha Hadid. La inauguración tendrá lugar el próximo 30 de mayo en la ciudad eterna. Para la apertura de este museo tan esperado tendremos la posibilidad de visitar 4 exposiciones una de Gino de Dominics, otra del artista turco Kutlug Ataman y una tercera sobre el trabajo del arquitecto Luigi Moretti. La cuarta exposición se titula SPAZIO y se trata de una presentación temática de la colección del museo a través de 80 obras desde Anish Kapoor hasta Sol LeWitt.
Para este nuevo centro de la actividad cultural Roma con 21000m2 de superficie, se esperan 200 000 visitantes al año para contemplar las 350 obras de arte contemporánea que cuenta la colección y los 75 000 dibujos de arquitectura.
